Senior Specialist, Category Management, General Construction

As part of Pandora’s strategic transformation journey, the Global Procurement Team has been unified under the vision of “Buying as One Pandora.” This new global procurement function is built on four strategic pillars – Cost Control, Business Value, Sustainability, and Protect Pandora – and is designed to drive best-in-class sourcing and supply chain practices across all business categories.

This role sits within the newly established Retail Procurement category, with a specific focus on General Construction.

As the Senior Specialist, you will drive the development and execution of sourcing strategies that enable Pandora's global retail network expansion and transformation agenda. Working closely with Global Network and cross-functional stakeholders, you will lead value creation initiatives, strengthen supplier partnerships, deliver procurement excellence, and support the successful delivery of Pandora's store development programmes worldwide.

You will play a key role in shaping and maturing the General Construction category, establishing best-in-class procurement practices, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment between category strategies and Pandora's broader business, sustainability, and network objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities are:

Category Strategy & Management

  • Drive the development and execution of the global General Construction category strategy and sourcing activities related to it.
  • Contribute to Retail Category roadmaps aligned with portfolio growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
  • Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and supplier landscape evaluation.

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

  • Support sourcing processes including RFI/RFQ/RFP preparation, bid evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection.
  • Contribute to securing competitive pricing, appropriate contract terms, and risk mitigation for construction procurements.
  • Challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, delivery performance, cost, and quality across the construction portfolio.

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Support supplier relationship management, KPI monitoring, and performance review processes.
  • Identify supplier development and innovation opportunities that can improve service, quality, and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and relevant regulations.

Cost Control & Value Delivery

  • Identify and support cost-saving opportunities, best practices, value engineering initiatives, and lifecycle cost reductions.
  • Track and report on category spend, savings achievements, and procurement performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build strong partnerships with Global Network, Cluster Network teams, Store Design & Creative, Sustainability, Finance, Legal, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Act as a bridge between business requirements and procurement execution, ensuring commercial decisions support broader organisational goals.
  • Facilitate alignment between global standards and regional market needs to enable scalable and effective delivery across Pandora's retail network.
  • Support and influence key stakeholders to drive adoption of category strategies, supplier programmes, and procurement best practices.

Your Profile

You are a procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic, global environment. You bring not only commercial acumen but also a deep commitment to doing business in the right way – for people, planet, and for Pandora. You see procurement not just as a function, but as a value-creating business partner. Additionally, we hope that you have and can demonstrate:

  • 4–6 years of procurement experience, with exposure to construction, retail fit-out, store development, or related indirect procurement categories.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree within Supply Chain, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a similar field
  • Good knowledge of construction procurement, contracting, and tendering processes.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and business units to build trust and confidence.
  • Negotiation and vendor management experience, with the ability to support supplier discussions and commercial evaluations.
  • Strong analytical and communication skill set with a clear business focus.
  • Experience working in a global, regional, or cross-functional environment
  • Ability to evaluate impact on customer experience versus capital expenditure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, data analytics, reporting tools, and collaborative platforms to support informed decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
