  • Maintain and publish the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC) ensuring visibility and alignment across business and IT stakeholders
  • Plan, coordinate and manage end-to-end SAP release cycles across environments and integrated systems.
  • Define release windows, manage deployment sequencing and proactively mitigate cross-team dependencies.
  • Oversee release execution, ensuring transports move correctly through Dev → QA → Prod with required validations.
  • Govern technical release frameworks including transport tools (e.g., Release Owl) and non-SAP integrations.
  • Ensure appropriate regression test scope, readiness checks and smoke test activities for each release.
  • Act as the central communication hub for SAP change and release activity globally.
  • Establish transparent reporting and feedback loops with Basis, development teams, business owners, PMO and leadership.
  • Clearly communicate release content, timelines, risks, conflicts, and business impacts.
  • Balance delivery urgency with production stability—negotiating trade-offs where required and escalating appropriately.
