As one of our fast-growing global locations, the Warsaw Hub plays a vital role in driving digital innovation, delivering scalable technology solutions and supporting our global transformation journey. Our teams work closely with colleagues across the globe, including our headquarters in Copenhagen, to shape the future of digital in retail and e-commerce.

Behind every great experience at Pandora is a robust digital foundation. Our engineering teams build and connect the systems that power our global ecosystem. You will join a dynamic environment where innovation meets reliability, and every integration is crafted with care. We value creative problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement—ensuring equitable opportunities for all. We’re proud of our inclusive, people-first culture, guided by our values: We Care, We Dream, We Dare, We Deliver.

Pandora is transforming how we plan, forecast, allocate, replenish, and optimize inventory across a global, omnichannel business. We are looking for a Senior Architect, Domain Architecture for Merchandising & Integrated Planning to shape the architecture of this critical business domain across core planning platforms, data and integration layers, legacy transition paths, and emerging AI-enabled planning capabilities.

This is a senior, hands-on architecture leadership role. You will not be an ivory-tower architect and you will not be a delivery manager. Your mission is to create clarity, coherence, and reusable architecture across a complex landscape of planning workflows, platforms, integrations, data products, and AI-enabled decision support.  You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, business planning teams, data teams, and strategic vendors to ensure that Pandora’s planning technology landscape is scalable, explainable, secure, and aligned to business outcomes. You will help smaller, AI-augmented teams move faster by giving them better domain models, reference patterns, decision guardrails, and architecture standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Own the domain architecture for Merchandising & Integrated Planning:

  • Define and evolve the target architecture across demand planning, store replenishment, sell-in planning, supply and capacity planning, inventory optimization, assortment transitions, pricing/promotion signals, and related planning workflows.
  • Maintain a clear domain blueprint showing business capabilities, systems, data flows, integrations, ownership boundaries, and transition states.
  • Ensure architecture decisions support business outcomes such as better forecast accuracy, product availability, inventory quality, planning speed, and decision consistency.

Create reusable patterns across planning platforms and integrations:

  • Define reference architectures and integration patterns across o9, data platforms, ERP, legacy planning systems, downstream reporting, and adjacent enterprise systems.
  • Reduce duplicated solutions by codifying reusable patterns for item transitions, channel mapping, demand signals, sell-in forecasts, data access, exception handling, and planning outputs.
  • Guide solution architects and engineering teams on when to standardize, when to allow local variation, and how to manage transition architecture safely.

Make the planning domain AI-ready:

  • Shape the architecture for AI-enabled and agentic planning capabilities, including scenario analysis, exception management, decision support, recommendations, control towers, and conversational interfaces.
  • Ensure AI use cases are grounded in clear domain models, trusted data, explainable logic, secure access, and auditable decision flows.
  • Partner with business and data teams to define the semantic layer, terminology, data contracts, and governance needed for humans and AI agents to reason over the planning domain consistently.

Strengthen architecture governance without slowing delivery:

  • Improve the architecture decision flow for Integrated Planning, including lightweight triage for configuration changes, deeper review for architectural/data/integration impact, and transparent decision records.
  • Help teams identify risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and non-functional requirements early, before they become UAT or go-live issues.
  • Coach teams to produce clear, concise, decision-oriented architecture documentation that can be reused across programs.

Partner across business, engineering, enterprise architecture, and vendors:

  • Work with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Planning, Product, Engineering, Delivery, Data & Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, and strategic vendors to align business needs with practical architecture.
  • Challenge vendor proposals when they create unnecessary complexity, duplicate capabilities, or weaken Pandora’s long-term architecture.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to leadership on domain architecture choices, platform trade-offs, transition risks, and AI-enabled planning opportunities.

We’re just a perfect match, if you are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in Enterprise, Domain, or Solution Architecture within complex global environments, ideally across retail, supply chain, planning, forecasting, inventory management, merchandising, or omnichannel operations.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, integrations, APIs, event-driven architecture, data platforms, and transition architectures.
  • Proven ability to translate business challenges into scalable architecture solutions, standards, reusable patterns, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Experience leading architecture decisions and governance across multiple products, delivery teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with modern technology ecosystems, including cloud platforms (Azure), data platforms (Databricks), integration technologies, SAP, and planning solutions such as o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP, or similar.
  • Good understanding of AI-enabled solutions, analytics, forecasting, optimization capabilities, and emerging technologies, with the ability to guide their practical and responsible adoption.
  • Familiarity with modern architecture and delivery practices, including domain-driven design, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, and large-scale transformation programs involving both legacy and target-state platforms.
  • Strong business and stakeholder orientation, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and translate architecture decisions into measurable business value.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and AI-savvy leader who drives architecture excellence through clear communication, collaboration, and continuous capability building across teams.
