We are excited to welcome an exceptional Merchandising Planning Director to our world‑class Global Merchandising team in Copenhagen.
In this role, your purpose is to maximize commercial value from our assortment, drive like‑for‑like (LFL) collection growth, and lead all activities related to sell‑out forecasting, geo‑squad collaboration, and buying preparation.
You will manage global sell‑out forecasts and demand (value and units), while partnering closely with clusters to strengthen LFL performance. You will also co‑lead the deployment of the Range Framework with Global Merchandising LT - owning weekly forecast preparation and newness buy cycles - and collaborate with stakeholders on sell‑in strategy, allocation planning, and order execution. This position holds responsibility for several key markets representing up to 35–40% share of business (SOB).
What you will do
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our commercial plans, forecasts, and assortment strategies translate into strong global and local execution. You will help shape how markets prepare, plan, and act - bringing clarity, structure, and commercial focus to every stage of the allocation and execution cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead global sellout forecasting across assigned clusters and channels, including End of Season Sales (EOSS), to shape buying strategy.
- Own the first signal to geo squads via sellout forecast, integrating local nuances and LFL targets.
- Manage mid and shortterm sellout forecasts to guide sellin, production, supply, and trend corrections.
- Partner with global and local merchandising teams to support strong execution and maximize commercial potential.
- Provide inputs to Trade Merchandising and the global product organization on article count and collection financials.
- Colead the Range Framework with the VP, ensuring strong tool ownership and seamless handover to inventory and allocation teams.
- Jointly own NPI sellout, distribution, and commercial strategy signoff by cluster, including collaboration with Inventory Strategy and Demand Planning on initial sellin strategy.
- Own value and unit forecasts for mid and shortterm horizons.
- Ensure system readiness for forecasting and buying/replenishment cycles (APTEAN and future O9).
- Lead execution of trending lanes from system inputs to final allocation in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Drive process optimization, standardization, and enhanced reporting to support scalable and effective forecasting practices.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of team structure and ways of working, bringing a proactive, selfdriven, continuousimprovement mindset.

Furthermore, we hope to see that you have:
- 5–8 years of solid experience within Product Merchandising, Demand Planning, Buying, or Allocation.
- Experience from the retail or fashion industry.
