Associate Business Analyst, Commercial Analysis & Insights

As our new Associate Analyst – Commercial Analysis & Insights, you’ll play a key role in supporting the analytical foundation behind Pandora’s global store portfolio. Based at our Copenhagen HQ, this role offers an exciting opportunity to build your analytical expertise while contributing to business-critical decisions through data, reporting, and commercial insights. 

 

Data analysis meets commercial decision-making
In this role, you will support the delivery of commercial analysis and insights within the Analytics & Data Governance team. Working closely with the team, you’ll execute recurring analytical tasks, maintain high-quality datasets, and contribute to reporting that supports investment decisions and store network planning across Pandora’s global business. 

 

You’ll help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used across key workstreams, including store CAPEX analysis, performance reporting, and network planning initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career analyst who enjoys working with data, producing accurate reporting, and supporting commercial decision-making through reliable analysis and high-quality datasets. 

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

Analytical Delivery & Reporting 

  • Supporting recurring analytical processes and reporting activities 

  • Producing regular reports and insights related to store investments, CAPEX, and network performance 

  • Supporting analytical workstreams focused on store age, size, format, and maturity analysis 

 

Data Quality & Maintenance 

  • Collecting, consolidating, and maintaining key datasets used across the team 

  • Performing regular data validation, cleansing, and quality checks 

  • Identifying and resolving data anomalies and inconsistencies 

  • Supporting improvements to data processes and structures  

 

Tracking & Performance Analysis 

  • Maintaining store-level tracking of investment and performance metrics 

  • Supporting dashboard creation and monthly reporting cycles 

  • Assisting with trend analysis, benchmarking exercises, and performance assessments 

  • Producing structured outputs that feed into wider commercial assessments 

 

Collaboration & Development 

  • Working closely with the rest of the team to develop analytical capabilities and business understanding 

  • Collaborating with operational stakeholders to gather information and resolve queries 

  • Broadening scope and autonomy gradually as experience and confidence develop 

 

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: 

  • 1–2 years of experience in a business analytics, commercial analytics, finance, or reporting role - alternatively, recent graduate experience combined with relevant internships or student positions 

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including Power Query 

  • Experience with Power BI and dashboard development 

  • Ability to work confidently with large datasets from multiple sources 

  • Strong data validation and quality assurance skills 

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 

  • Experience within retail, consumer goods, FMCG, commercial finance, operations, or real estate is a plus 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline 

 

Nice to have: 

  • Understanding of financial concepts such as P&L, CAPEX, ROI, and business performance drivers 

  • Experience with statistical analysis, forecasting, or variance analysis 

  • Exposure to business case development or scenario modelling 

  • Familiarity with retail KPIs and store performance analytics 

  • Knowledge of Power Automate, Python, or R

You’ll join Pandora’s Analytics & Data Governance team within Network & Franchise Management. From our Copenhagen HQ, we support strategic decision-making across Pandora’s global store network through trusted data, reporting, and commercial insights. Our team combines analytical expertise with business understanding to help drive profitable growth and operational excellence.
